Dylan Jocko also accused of assault

Police issued the following news release this afternoon announcing an assault charge was laid against Dylan Jocko on Monday, the same day he pleaded guilty to five charges, including allegations that he repeatedly breached a restrictive court order that he had been placed on because of fears he will commit a serious personal injury.

Jocko was one of three men convicted in July 2016 of manslaughter in Wesley Hallam's death and dismemberment.

On Oct. 7, 2019 officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 35-year-old Dylan Jocko of London, Ont. for assault.

It’s alleged on Sept. 3, 2019 while in custody at the Sault Ste. Marie Court House, the accused struck another person in custody. The victim was taken to hospital to be evaluated.

The accused is charged with one count of assault, one count of breach of peace bond and one count of breach of probation. He was held for bail court.
