On July 8, 2018 officers with the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 41-year-old Christen Mcminn and 18-year-old Rune Laudadio of Taskar Drive for possession of a controlled substance.
Just before 7 p.m. officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant in the 0-100 block of Taskar Drive. Officers located 16.42 grams of methamphetamine and a set of Ontario license plates that had been reported stolen. The total street value of the drugs seized was $2,463.
Ms. Mcminn and Ms. Laudadio were placed in custody at the scene. They have been charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of stolen property. They will appear in court on August 20, 2018.
