A 48-year-old cyclist has died in a collision last night, reports Sault Ste. Marie Police.
The cyclist was struck by a motor vehicle on the 1000 block of Peoples Road shortly after midnight on Saturday.
He was transported to hospital with major injuries and later succumbed to those injuries.
The lone occupant of the motor vehicle was not injured.
No charges have been laid at this time and police continue to investigate the collision.
