Two pickup trucks collided at Birch and Walnut Streets shortly before 8 a.m. this morning, sending the driver of one of the trucks to hospital and putting the other truck on its roof.
Police at the scene said a compact Chevrolet truck was heading east on Birch when it struck a full-size GMC, which was southbound on Walnut.
The driver of the compact truck was taken to hospital with what police described as non-life-threatening injuries.
No extrication was required. Both vehicles were demolished.
