On Oct. 13, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 37-year-old Spencer MacMillan of Hillside Drive for impaired driving.
It is alleged that around 5 a.m. the accused was operating a motor vehicle in the 600 block of Second Line West. The accused drove into a parking lot and then struck a building causing minor damage. Police were contacted and arrived a short time later.
Officers determined that the accused was operating the motor vehicle while he was impaired by alcohol and he was placed in custody. The accused later refused to provide a sample of his breath when ordered to do so.
He has been charged with one count of impaired operation of a motor vehicle and one count of refusing to provide a breath sample. He will appear in court on Nov. 19, 2018.
