On Nov. 6, 2017, officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 25-year-old Brandon Horton of Pine Street in relation to a break and enter.

It is alleged that around 2 a.m., the accused forced open the window of a residence belonging to a person known to him. The accused then entered the residence and was found inside by the owner. Once the accused was confronted by the owner, he fled the area and police were contacted.

The accused was taken into custody and charged with one count of break and enter and one count of breach of probation. He will appear in court on Dec. 11, 2017.
