Shortly before 3:30 Sunday morning, Sault Ste. Marie Police Service officers responded to a call of a barricaded person at residence in the 100 block of Boundary Road.
At 6 p.m., the person was safely taken into custody and no charges have been laid.
Police advise that Boundary Road is now open to traffic.
