On July 27, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 22-year-old Kayla McGonegal-Nolan of James Street for assault with a weapon.
It’s alleged on July 27, 2019, the accused approached a female known to her with a weapon and threatened her, then struck the victim. Police were called, responded a short time later and took the accused into custody.
She is charged with one count of assault with a weapon, one count of assault, one count of uttering threats, one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and two counts of breach of recognizance. She was held for bail court.
