Arrest made in tool theft

On May 22, 2019 officers with the Break and Enter unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 25-year-old Cody Bjornaa of Pim Street for break and enter. 

It’s alleged On May 14, 2019 the accused entered a garage in the 100-block of Tancred Street and stole approximately $6,000 in tools. 

As a result of the investigation police located the stolen items at a place the accused had been staying. He was arrested and charged with one count of break and enter, one count of possession of stolen property and one count of breach of probation. 

He was held for bail court.
