Arrest made in Korah Road theft investigation

23-year-old accused faces theft, assault charges as a result

Police have charged Brent Boissoneau-Stone following an incident that occurred at a Korah Road business on June 7.

A news release issued today by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service alleges that the 23-year-old accused took approximately $75 worth of meat products from a business in the 500 block of Korah Road.

Police say Boissoneau-Stone was detained by a store employee before the accused punched and threatened the employee and left the area.

The accused, was wanted on an outstanding warrant, was later located by officers in the area of Albert Street West and Queen Street West and arrested.

Boissoneau-Stone was held for bail court and stands charged with assault, uttering threats, theft under $5,000, and breach of probation.
