Arrest made after victim threatened with knife: Sault Police

Police say the accused threatened to kill the victim

Sault Police have arrested 38-year-old Justin St. Amour following an incident yesterday afternoon.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service states in a news release issued today that the accused was involved in an argument Thursday afternoon and is alleged to have threatened to kill the victim with a knife.

Officers later located St. Amour on Cathcart Street. He was arrested and stands charged with assault with a weapon, uttering threats, breach of probation and breach of undertaking.

He was held in custody pending bail.
