Gap between Spina, Sheehan widens according to SooToday poll

NDP candidate continues to trail in third

A poll of SooToday readers shows Sonny Spina with more than 40 per cent of the vote, giving the Conservative candidate a lead of more than eight points over Liberal incumbent Terry Sheehan.

Marie Morin-Strom, the NDP's Sault riding candidate, continues to trail in third place, with 10.75 per cent of the vote.

A SooToday poll that ended earlier this week, put Spina ahead by about five points. polled 2120 readers and asked the question: If you had to vote now, which Federal election candidate would you vote for?

The poll ran from 9/7/2021 to 9/9/2021. Of the 2120 votes, we can determine that 1405 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:
