Liberal Terry Sheehan headed for victory

Conservative candidate Sonny Spina trails, NDP's Sara McCleary has conceded

With more than half of Sault Ste. Marie’s polls counted, Liberal candidate Terry Sheehan appears to be headed back to Ottawa.

Results continue to come in, but the incumbent appears to be holding the riding for the Liberals, having taken an early lead over Conservative challenger Sonny Spina. NDP candidate Sara McCleary has conceded defeat.
