Ontario Premier Doug Ford says Ottawa's $14-billion proposal to restart the economy "won't cut it," and hopes the proposal to premiers made this week is "just the start of the conversation."
Ford says $23 billion is required by the province to recover from the COVID-19 crisis.
Premier Doug Ford is slated to make a COVID-19 announcement today at 1:00 p.m. outside of Queen's Park.
He will be joined by Christine Elliott, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health, Rod Phillips, Minister of Finance, and Vic Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, to make the announcement.
Today's update comes after the provincial government allowed short-term cottage and condo rentals to resume.
Village Media will carry the livestream, so stay tuned.
