Music lovers can now get their hands on a piece of failed-music-festival history.
MF Live Inc., the organizers behind the now-defunct Roxodus Music Festival, have put their remaining assets on the auction block through auctioneers Danbury Global in Cambridge, Ont.
There are 420 lot items up for sale, ranging from cooking equipment, audio/visual equipment, office equipment, camping gear and Roxodus-branded merchandise.
MF Live Inc., the company behind the Roxodus Music Festival, filed for bankruptcy on July 12 after abruptly cancelling the festival on July 3.
According to the bankruptcy documents filed on July 9, MF Live’s assets total $154,075. Their liabilities total more than $18 million.
The high-profile concert was supposed to happen in Edenvale, west of Barrie.
The five-day music event was to have included performances from legends such as Aerosmith, Nickelback, Alice Cooper and a host of others.
The first lot for the auction ends Nov. 26 at 10:30 a.m.
