School trustee with 25 years experience seeks re-election

Mother to three, grandmother to six runs again for public school board

Susan Thayer is seeking re-election as Algoma District School Board trustee in Ward 4.

A former accountant with BDO Dunwoody, Thayer was recently recognized by the Ontario Public School Board Association for 25 continuous years of service as an ADSB trustee.

The mother to three, grandmother to six, filed her re-election nomination papers this past week.

The deadline for other candidates to file paperwork to run in the Oct. 24 local elections is 2 p.m. next Friday, Aug. 19.
