VIDEO: Jones makes the best out of isolation with new music

'We musicians and artists are still out here writing, and waiting,' says Dustin Jones

Sault musician and owner of Mission Control Studios, Dustin Jones, is doing his best to keep busy throughout the pandemic, and wanted to share some new music with the community.

"We musicians and artists are still out here writing, and waiting. This is starting to get long," Jones wrote to SooToday.

For Now lyrics:

Was a Wednesday night under winter skies / and I wondered have I grown
Doesn’t seem like being young was long ago
Evil lies in the devils eyes / I’ve seen them right up close / but there’s still times when I miss him the most

But for now we've got a good thing going / good thing going now
But for now we've got a good thing going / good thing going now

When the bastards leave / and the silence screams / it’s safe to come back home
When you don’t have to worry anymore
When your best guess / is I guess I'm right
It’s how we make it through / but you know that devil might come back for you

But for now we've got a good thing going / good thing going now
But for now we've got a good thing going / good thing going now

So I write stuff down / and I blend some sounds / it’s all I really know / there’s a piece of me in every song I wrote

But for now we've got a good thing going / good thing going now...
