PRESS RELEASE

SAULT COLLEGE

Face our issues!

The Sault College Student Administrative Council (SAC) will hold an All Candidates Debate at 2 p.m. on October 8th, 2008.

The event will take place on campus in the student life center, affectionately called the Outback.

The purpose of this event is to increase student awareness of the issues.

"We want to see the students of Sault College get informed, so that they can make an informed choice on Election Day. There is no better way to get you questions answered they to ask the candidates directly," noted Kim Ward, Vice-President Communications for SAC.

SAC, along with twenty-two other student associations, is participating in the 'Face our Issues" campaign.

This campaign encourages college students to speak up and make politicians of this country face the issues which affect the youth population.

"Face our Issues" is a campaign hosted by the College Student Alliance, and advocacy and service organization representing student associations in 20 of the 24 Ontario Colleges.
