7 OHL Grads Win Calder Cup with Binghamton Senators

Congratulations to the 17 Canadian Hockey League graduates that captured a 2010-11 American Hockey League Calder Cup Championship with the Binghamton Senators.

The Senators defeated 22 CHL graduates competing on the Houston Aeros with a 3-2 win on Tuesday night in game six of the finals.

Senators' goaltender Robin Lehner who played last season with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds became just the fourth teenage goaltender to win a Calder Cup title following Carey Price (2007), Patrick Roy (1986), and Gordie Bell (1943).

Lehner was also named MVP of the Calder Cup playoffs with a 14-4 record posting a 2.10 goals-against-average and a .939 save percentage.

The Senators are the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Ottawa Senators, while the Aeros are affiliated with the Minnesota Wild.
