Jr. NBA Skills Challenge This Sunday At The George Leach Centre

On Sunday, February 17th between noon and 3:00, the George Leach Centre will be the host site for the 2008 Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA Skills Challenge. Sponsored, by Singulair, this FREE event is open to boys and girls between the ages of 7 & 14.

Participants will complete a timed course of activities focused on core basketball fundamental skills such as shooting, dribbling and passing. Prizes provided by the NBA will be awarded to top finishers in a number of categories.

Those who pre-register by Friday, Feb. 15th will have their name entered in a draw sponsored by the Algoma University College Thunderbird Athletic Department.
