NORTHERN ONTARIO JUNIOR HOCKEY LEAGUE

NOJHL officially welcomes Soo Indians

August 2, 2006 - It has been confirmed today by the NOJHL Board of Directors that the Soo Indians have officially purchased the Northern Michigan Black Bears and will be ready to begin play in the 2006-07 season.

Charles Perdicaro and Jim Capy will lead the Indians and will look to carry on the success of the only U.S. based club in the NOJHL.

The NOJHL would also like to thank Frank Foster and the entire Northern Michigan Black Bears organization for their dedication and commitment to the league and wish them well for the future.
