Racing season is winding down at Laird International Raceway and the points race in the Super Late Model Division continues to be tight.

Rob Hiiemaa entered the evening with a three-point lead over Keith King and eight points ahead of Dan Byrnes and used a narrow victory over George Wilson in Thursday’s feature to continue to hold his lead atop the division.

Hiiemaa beat Wilson by less than a half-second to take the feature victory.

King finished third.

With a heat race victory already under his belt, Mav MacDonald Jr. picked up a feature victory ahead of Keith King and Nick Kozak.

The Factory Stock Division saw Jarritt Varcoe picked up the feature victory. Chase Wilson won the race, by nearly five seconds over Varcoe but was disqualified in a decision made on Friday afternoon. J.P. DelPaggio was eventually awarded second after the decision.

In the Factory Four Division, John Carter picked up the feature victory ahead of Chelsea Pace and Brent Fewchuk.
