New 3-on-3 basketball tournament looking for players

St. Jerome’s Parish is hoping to bring back the fun of the 3-on-3 basketball tournament by hosting “The SSM Youth Hardwood Classic”.

If you like basketball, get your friends together and make a team. 

Where: Holy Cross School 

When:  Saturday August 29th, 9:00 a.m.

Why:  In support of Catholic Youth Ministry in Sault Ste. Marie. 

There will be food (including Little Caesar’s Pizza), “design-your-own” t-shirts and all sorts of other fun stuff for sale. It’s going to be a great time.

Guys or girls from the ages of 10-25 can enter the tournament, so if you know any other basketball players who you think would be interested, be sure to let them know.

• Cost: $30 / team 
• Bring 4 players (for subs)
• Everyone Guaranteed 3 games
• Prizes for winners

Don’t forget to spread the word to anyone you can think of who might want to play in the tournament, because the more people we get, the more fun for everyone. We particularly want to see more girls sign up, and also older players.
