For the time being, the next race night at Laird International Raceway hasn’t been determined.

After week five of racing was completed last Thursday, the next scheduled race date was supposed to be July 23. The event was planned to be Laird’s mid-season championship.

No information has been released regarding the reason for the cancelation and a message left for track owner Donnie Varcoe had not been returned at the time of writing.

The track has seven race nights scheduled following this week, beginning on July 30 and running every Thursday until Sept. 10.

Laird drivers have scheduled a meeting for later this week.
