Four Greyhounds named all-stars

Greyhounds Coach Sheldon Keefe, who has been linked to the Toronto Maple Leafs in recent days, and defenceman Anthony DeAngelo were named first team all-stars while Darnell Nurse and Sergey Tolchinsky were also recognized.

Nurse was named a second team all-star while Tolchinsky earned third team honours.

Keefe led the Greyhounds to a 54-12-0-2 record and 110 points in the 2014-15 season, setting a new team record for points in the process.

DeAngelo, who was acquired from the Sarnia Sting prior to the trade deadline in January, scored 15 goals and 51 points in 26 games with the Greyhounds while leading all OHL defencemen with 25 goals and 89 points total between the Sting and Greyhounds.

The Tampa Bay Lightning prospect added 16 assists in 13 playoff games.

The Greyhounds captain, Nurse had 10 goals and 33 assists in 36 games and won a gold medal with Team Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championships at Christmas.

An Edmonton Oilers prospect, Nurse added three goals and eight points in 14 playoff games.

Tolchinsky led the Greyhounds in scoring with 30 goals and 95 points in 61 games. The slick winger, whose NHL rights are held by the Carolina Hurricanes, added four goals and 14 points in 14 playoff games.
