***********************
Three Sault Ste. Marie youth are preparing to represent Northern Ontario at the Youth Bowling Championship in Toronto May 2, 2015 to May 4, 2015.

The three will compete against 54 Provincial Champions from across Canada.

Ema Bowen, Chasity King and Josh Woolley are proud to represent Sault Ste. Marie at this prestigious event.

The three qualified for Nationals with impressive performances in February at the Provincial finals held at Northcrest Lanes.

King and Woolley are no strangers to National competition.

May’s tournament will represent their fourth appearance at a National level.

Woolley captured the coveted gold championship in singles competition at his first National appearance in 2011.

King won silver in 2014 team event and is looking to medal in this year’s single competition.

This will be Bowen first trip to Nationals but not her last for 2015, as she will head to Winnipeg to compete in the Canadian Ten-Pin Federation National Championships at the end of May.

The event will kick off with Opening Ceremonies on Friday, May 1, 2015 and competitors will take to the bowling lanes for a three-day tournament Saturday.

Tenpin youth bowlers will compete for National Championship titles, in singles, and team play.

Three Thunder Bay bowlers, Braedyn Woolley, Daniel George and Haley Stolz, will round out Northern Ontario’s contingent.
