Positive results at Developmental Meet for Northern Storm

NEOR 2 Developmental Meet

Thirteen swimmer from the Northern Storm Aquatic Club (NSAC) travelled to North Bay this past weekend to attend the NEOR 2 Developmental Meet.  The meet ran from Nov. 22 to Nov. 23, 2014, at the North Bay YMCA Swimming Pool and was hosted by the North Bay Y Titans. 

Desmond Wood-Anderson, 13, was awarded five gold medals for 100m freestyle, 200m freestyle, 400m freestyle, 100m back, and 200m IM (individual medley). Additionally, Desmond was awarded a silver medal for 200m IM.

Elisa Dumanski, 12, received three gold medals (50m freestyle, 100m freestyle and 200m freestyle), one silver medal (400m freestyle) and one bronze medal (100m breast).

Paige Banton, 12, won two gold medals (100m and 200m breast), one silver medal (200m freestyle) and three bronze medals (100m freestyle, 100m back, and 200m IM).

Lilli Kelgar, 11, received three silver medals (50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, and 100m butterfly) and one bronze medal in 200m freestyle.

Will Banton, 9, was awarded three silver medals (50m freestyle, 100m IM and 200m freestyle) and one bronze medal in 100m breast.

Chloe Wyslocky, 10, received two silver medals for 50m freestyle and 50m back.

Reilan Dupuis, 15, was awarded a silver medal for his performance in the 100m breast.

MacKenzie Beynon, 11, won one bronze medal in 50m freestyle.

Alexandria McCauley, 13, was awarded a bronze medal for her performance in the 50m breast.

Aliah Robertson, 11, received a bronze medal for 100m butterfly.

The combination of MacKenzie, Paige, Lilli, and Elisa was awarded bronze for their performance in the women 15-and-over 200 free relay.

Next up for the Northern Storm is the Omni Top Fish Beginner Meet for beginning racers at the Gatchell Swimming Pool on December 7 and the Division Three Team Championships in Windsor from Dec. 12 to Dec. 14.  Keep up the great work swimmers!
