Brad Jacobs fell to 0-2 at The Masters curling tournament in Selkirk, Man. on Thursday.
The Jacobs rink dropped a 7-5 decision to Kevin Koe Thursday night in the first Grand Slam of Curling event of the season.
Tied at five heading into the final end, the Koe rink stole a pair in the eighth end to pick up the win.
Team Jacobs, which includes third Ryan Fry, second E.J. Harnden and lead Ryan Harnden, has a pair of games on Friday to wrap up the round robin. In Draw 11, the Jacobs rink faces Jim Cotter before wrapping up the round robin in draw 13 against Niklas Edin. Cotter is 0-3 while Edin is 2-1.
