The Ontario Hockey League exhibition season continued on Friday night for the Soo Greyhounds as they traveled to Saginaw to take on the Spirit. The Greyhounds surrendered three power play goals as they dropped a 5-2 decision.

Artem Artemov scored a pair of power play goals for the Spirit in the win while Daniel DeSousa also had a power play goal in the win.

Tye Felhaber and Mitchell Stephens also scored for Saginaw.

Keigan Goetz scored a power play goal in the third period for the Greyhounds, deflecting a Gustav Bouramman point shot into the Saginaw goal.

Gabe Guertler also scored for the Greyhounds, who fall to 1-2 in the exhibition season with the loss.

With Brandon Halverson away at the New York Rangers training camp, Joseph Raaymakers got his third start of the pre-season, stopping 22 shots for the Greyhounds.

The Greyhounds outshot the Spirit 41-27 in the game.

The Greyhounds and Spirit wrap up their home-and-home series on Saturday night at the Essar Centre. The game marks the end of the exhibition season for the Greyhounds. Puck drop is set for 7:07 p.m.
