The Ontario Hockey League saw four games wrap up weekend action on Sunday, including a lengthy winning streak coming to an end in the process.
In London, Brett Welychka and Bo Horvat had a goal and two assists each as the London Knights beat the Erie Otters 6-2. The loss ends an 11-game winning streak for the Otters. Chris Tierney had a goal and an assist for London wile Max Domi chipped in with two assists. Dakota Mermis, Alex Basso and Kyle Platzer also scored for the Knights in the win. Connor Brown had a goal and an assist for Erie in the loss. Dane Fox set up a pair of goals while Andre Burakovsky also scored for the Otters.
In Guelph, Justin Nichols made 30 saves as the Guelph Storm beat the Sudbury Wolves 3-1. Hunter Garlent and Zack Mitchell had a goal and an assist each for the Storm in the win. Scott Kosmachuk set up a pair of goals for Guelph while Matt Finn also scored. Sudbury goaltender Franky Palazzese stopped 41 shots in the loss. Mathew Campagna scored the lone goal for the Wolves.
In Mississauga, Andrew Goldberg had two goals and an assist as the Mississauga Steelheads beat the Kitchener Rangers 4-1. Goaltender Spencer Martin stopped 26 shots in the win. Josh Burnside and Sam Babintsev also scored for Mississauga in the win. Justin Bailey had the lone goal for the Rangers in the loss.
In Oshawa, Scott Laughton had two goals and three assists as the Oshawa Generals beat the Peterborough Petes 5-3. Generals goaltender Daniel Altshuller made 37 saves in the win. Michael Dal Colle and Cole Cassels added a goal and two assists each in the win while Chris Carlisle also scored in the win. Eric Cornel had a goal and an assist for Peterborough while Matej Paulovic and Josh MacDonald also scored.
