SOO GREYHOUNDS AAA MINOR BANTAM
********************
The Algoma Industrial Soo Greyhounds beat West Ferris Trappers 4-2 on Saturday to complete the sweep and advance to the NOBHL final.

Nicholas Smith gave the Soo the lead on a goal assisted by Zachary Taylor and Mark Tassone in the first period. After the Trappers tied the game, Taylor notched an unassisted goal to give the Soo the lead in the second period.

Early in the third period the Trappers evened the score at two. Tassone then got his second game-winning goal in as many games by beating the Trappers netminder with only 2:55 remaining with the helper going to Holden Brock. Gage Stephney added the insurance marker into the empty net to round out the scoring.

Matthew Reid was in net for the win.

The Greyhounds will travel to Sudbury next weekend to meet the Nickel City Sons in the NOBHL final
