LAKE SUPERIOR FIGURE SKATING CLUB

Lake Superior Figure Skating Club -  Strong Showing at the 2013 Festival of Stars Northern Ontario Championships

Four skaters will move on from this weekend’s Festival of Stars (Northern Ontario) to represent the Lake Superior Figure Skating Club at the Ontario Star Skate and Skate Ontario championships in March.

The LSFSC results of the Festival of Stars competition were as follows:

Pre-Juvenile Women (Under 11)
Guadalupe Raed DiBari - GOLD

Pre-Juvenile Women (Under 14)
Danielle McPhee  - GOLD
Abiguel Jones – Alternate (4th)

Junior Bronze Ladies
Fiona Keating  - Second

Juvenille Women (Under 14)
Blair Headrick – Third

Their head coach Kerry Bain was very pleased with the results and the performances of all the Lake Superior Skaters.  Our athletes have been working very hard this season and we are thrilled to see 4 Lake Superior skaters moving on to the provincial championships in Fort Erie on March 22nd, 2013.
