ATOM SOO JUNIOR GREYHOUNDS

The Eazy Express Soo Junior Greyhounds won the 55th Annual Preston Invitational in Cambridge, Ontario
The Jr. Hounds rolled through the tournament outscoring their opponents 35-2. The Jr. Hounds faced off against the Etobicoke Canucks, Toronto Avalanche and Cambridge Hawks in round robin action then earned a semi final rematch against the Avalanche.
The Jr. Hounds had four consecutive shutouts heading into the finals thanks to fine defensive play and the goaltending tandem of Odyssey Hopkin and Noah Zeppa.
In the final, Nick Kelly scored three goals to lead the Jr. Hounds to a 4-2 victory over the Mississauga Terriers. The Terriers were also undefeated heading into the finals.
This is the second tournament the Jr. Greyhounds captured this season after winning the Oktoberfest Tournament in Kitchener last fall.
