Sunday, December 30, 2012   by: Brad Coccimiglio

SUDBURY, ONT. – The Soo Greyhounds saw their four-game winning streak come to an end Sunday afternoon in Sudbury.

The Greyhounds dropped a 4-1 decision to the Sudbury Wolves Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.

The Greyhounds gave up three unanswered goals in the loss after the two teams traded goals in the opening period. Nick Baptiste of Sudbury and Greyhounds defenceman Ryan Sproul scored first-period goals before the Wolves scored three times over the final 40 minutes.

Charlie Dodero, Jacob Harris and Nathan Pancel also scored for the Wolves, who scored three times on the power play in the win.

Greyhounds goaltender Matt Murray stopped 36 shots while Joel Vienneau stopped 26 shots for the Wolves.

The Greyhounds return to action on Monday when they face the Saginaw Spirit at the Essar Centre in a 4 p.m. start.

Can't trade Cousins right now. Need his goals, and helpers to make the playoffs. He is a dickhead though! We would need two, 20 goal scorers in return. Not gonna happen. If it did, say goodbye to playoffs, or squeak in, and get swept!

I would trade cousins just to get him off the team. McCann will fill the void on the top line. Cousins days are numbered anyway. If Dubas doesn't trade him, you risk getting nothing for an 7 or 8 playoff spot team and a first round exit? Not smart. Cousins will not and I repeat, not win you a playoff series.

He won't win a playoff series, but his consistent point scoring, will help them make the playoffs. If he goes now, Dubas will need a dam good return for him.

If I was feeding Sproul in the power play on a regular basis, I would be up there in the tip ten in scoring. He's overrated. Any one can get those easy points
