Nichols earns academic honour from OHL

Soo Greyhounds goaltender Justin Nichols was named one of the Ontario Hockey League’s academic players of the month for the month of October earlier this afternoon.

Soo Greyhounds goaltender Justin Nichols was named one of the Ontario Hockey League’s academic players of the month for the month of October earlier this afternoon.

The league honours four players each month for their academic achievements, one from each of the four divisions.

Nichols is maintaining a 90% average while enrolled in a University preparation program at the Grade 12 level at St. Mary’s College.

Also named academic players of the month for the month of October were Jacob Jammes (London – Midwest), Connor Burgess (Sudbury – Central) and Jacob Blair (Ottawa – East).
