St. Mary's wins senior football championship

The St. Mary's Knights were crowned senior football champions on Friday night at Rocky DiPietro Field.
The Knights beat the St. Basil Saints 17-10 to win the city title and advance to the NOSSA semi-final, scheduled for Nov. 10 in Sault Ste. Marie, where they will face the champion from Sudbury. The winner of that game will host the NOSSA final on Nov. 17.
