FALL BALL 2012 (Elementary Boys and Girls Basketball Program)
This Sunday, October 14, FALL BALL 2012 will begin. The first session will be held at Korah Collegiate. Session one, for the boys, will run from noon until 2 p.m., while session one, for the girls, will run from 2-4 p.m.
What is Fall Ball?
Fall ball is a program that will offer quality instruction in a fun and safe environment for 7 Sunday Sessions.
Why Fall Ball?
The objective of Fall Ball is to enhance the development of the sport of basketball in our community by promoting individual skill development, team concepts development strength and agility education development that is age appropriate, and fun.
- Specifically, we will targeting:
- Shooting
- Decision Making
- Footwork
Each session will have skill development sessions followed by games. We will be using 3-on-3 play as our ‘vehicle’ for our games to ensure that each participant is involved and that all players get to play in all positions on the floor.
In addition we have put together a great group of experienced coaches and skill trainers to create a tremendous learning environment, with ample opportunity for 1-on-1 instruction.
Who is Fall Ball for?
Current youth (boys and girls) that are in grades 5-8.
Who are this year’s Fall Ball coaches?
This year Jeff Giovanatti, Winston Ivey, Kyle Dugas, Shawn MacDonald, Aaron Richards, Andy Haidar, Greg Mapp, Graham Harper, and Danny MacDonald will comprise the 2012 Fall Ball staff.
