Superior Heights blanks Korah in high school football

The Superior Heights Steelhawks blanked the Korah Colts 38-0 in senior football action at Rocky DiPietro Field on Saturday afternoon.
Stevan Hiiemaa and Caleb Williams combined for four majors for the Steelhawks in the victory, Hiiemaa scored on runs from one-yard out in the opening quarter and eight yards out in the second.
Williams scored both of his majors on one-yard runs.
Jeff Auger caught a 32-yard touchdown pass from Superior Heights quarterback Nathan Elgie to also figure in on the scoring.
Senior football action continues on Wednesday night when St. Mary’s takes on White Pines at 7 p.m. On Friday night St. Basil and Superior Heights face off, also at 7 p.m. The following day, White Pines takes on Korah at 1 p.m. All senior games are played at Rocky DiPietro Field.
In other high school action, White Pines dropped a lopsided 71-0 decision to Sault High in Sault, Mich. on Saturday afternoon.
