Tenaris/SIS U16 Vipers tied and lost in WOYSL weekend play

The Tenaris/SIS U16 Vipers had one tie and one loss in Southern Ontario over the weekend in WOYSL action.

After a one hour delay in game one against Cambridge United, the Vipers came out slow and fell behind 2-0 in the first 10 minutes of play. The Vipers regained confidence and controlled play over the rest of the game and settled for a 2-2 tie.  Taylor Bellini scored both goals for the Vipers.

In the second game, the Vipers travelled to Kitchener/Waterloo to play Waterloo United. After being down early once again, the Vipers couldn't mount a comeback and lost 4-0.

The Vipers have five games remaining in their season with two crucial games this weekend at home against the Windsor Eastside Kickers. A pair of wins would move the Vipers into fourth place. Both games are at Tom Tipton with Saturdays game at 6:30 p.m. and Sundays game starting at 11:00 a.m..
