Tuesday, July 31, 2012   by: Brad Coccimiglio

The Cambrian Nissan Midget Black Sox wrapped up their Great Lakes Baseball League schedule on Tuesday night with a 7-4 loss to the E.U.P. Travelers.

The Sault, Mich.-based Travelers scored three runs in the opening inning and added a pair of insurance runs in the seventh inning that wound up being a little more important after the Black Sox managed to put together a short rally that saw the locals scored twice in the seventh inning.

Dana Lesage had a single and a pair of walks in the loss while Jordan Pine had a pair of walks for the Black Sox. Coty Anderson, Dominic Buonomo, Scott Morphet and Brock Barry also singled for the Black Sox.

Devon Dear had a double, a single and a walk in the win for the Travelers while Tyler Wilson singled and doubled.

The Black Sox travel to Sudbury next weekend for a pair of exhibition games.
