Steelers fall to 2-4 with loss in Oakville (Updated)

The Sault Steelers record fell to 2-4 in the Northern Football Conference after a 53-7 road loss to the Oakville Longhorns.
The Steelers fell behind 14-0 before the game was seven minutes old and could not recover. Robin Medeiros caught a 24-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Sewell and then returned a punt 77 yards for a major to give the Longhorns the early lead.
Chris Hibbert caught three passes for 102 yards and a touchdown while Matt Scottalso caught three passes, for 56 yards and a touchdown. Martine Belle also caught a touchdown pass for Oakville in the win. Devon Arthurs ran for 71 yards and a touchdown while Jermaine DeCosta ran for 120 yards on 11 carries. Sergio Giusti kicked a 25-yad field goal as well in the win.
Rob Green had the Steelers lone major in the loss, catching a 30-yard pass from Frank Weise.
Bryan Babic ran for 54 yard on 13 carries for the Steelers while Aaron Betolo ran for 40 yards on 3 carries in the loss.
The Steelers travel to Toronto for a game against the Titans on July 21.
