Bantam Sox sweep Livingston

The Elks 341 Bantam Black Sox swept a three-game series locally over Livingston over the weekend.

In the opening game, Jarrod Sachro and Beau Nolan knocked in a pair of runs each with singles in a 7-0 win. Nolan also stole a pair of bases in the win. Pitcher Jamis McMaster struck out six hitters in six innings of work.

Nolan singled twice and knocked in four runs in game two as the Black Sox picked up a 15-6 win. McMaster added a single and a double and also knocked in four runs in the game two victory.

In game three, the Black Sox ended the weekend with a 3-2 win. Pitcher Colton Read picked up the complete game victory as he scattered four hits in the win. Brandon Boyer knocked in the game-winning run.

The Black Sox will host the 7th Annual Black Sox Invitational, which opens on Friday.
