The Soo Greyhounds have added a familiar face to OHL fans to the front office.
Former Oshawa Generals and Ottawa 67’s forward Chris Hulit, a Sault Ste. Marie native, has been hired by the team to fill the position of Corporate Partnerships.
Hulit spent five years in the OHL with Oshawa and Ottawa before heading to St. Francis Xavier University to complete his post-secondary schooling.
“It's sincerely an honour for me to return home and get the opportunity to help the organization grow and be a part of the momentum that Kyle and his staff are generating by helping this club move in the right direction,” Hulit said in a release. “The future of this club looks very bright and I'm tremendously excited to join the staff and contribute in any way I can to the process. I look forward to working with the businesses and community of Sault Ste. Marie and generate new partnership ideas in an effort to further highlight the bond that the Greyhounds and the community share.”
Hulit joins the Greyhounds after working for Dealfind, a Canadian-owned group-buying website based out of Toronto.
Hulit replaces Director of Sales & Marketing Nick Still, who is returning to Toronto. Hulit will take over in mid-June.
