If you shop across the river, declare it. You run the possibility of getting caught and costing more.
Retailers here cant compete because Canadians get paid more per hour than their American counterparts. Min wage in Michigan presently is $9.00. Plus sales tax is only 6%.
Canadians want their cake and eat it too. Americans don't have health care coverage like we do.
People complain that Walmart chased out other retailers. Zellers closed across Canada. When people shop across river it doesn't entice companies like Target for coming here, because statistics show demand not here.
