Hayes is quoted as saying, "he has not consulted with CN officials since November, criticized the company’s recent decision to end the passenger service March 31.

He goes on to state,“They have decided as a business decision that they are going to eliminate the service because it doesn’t make economic sense for them to continue it,”

This apologist for the private sector seems surprised that a private sector business would stop doing something that causes them to lose money. I guess his "surprise" is also his excuse for doing nothing to keep the subsidy until he gets exposed as useless.

" Hayes defended his government’s action as an attempt to save tax dollars" This saving is miniscule compared to the money spent for Harper to go on tour to Israel. What really irks me is that I voted for this guy last time. Tony Martin, my most sincere apology.
