No muf ... OPSEU didn't turtle, it's just common sense to realize where our province and economy are at. What do they need to bicker about with contracts. OPSEU understood a wage freeze was necessary ... obviously the teachers and their union don't get it. I'm proud of the government standing up to teachers and their union. There is no need to impose a bogus bill like that on any other union. In two years, they should impose another bill on the teachers to claw back on wages. Maybe hire double the amount of teachers ... create smaller classrooms with the abundance of teachers ... and cut their wages in half to pay for it. This would create more jobs for the thousands of people on the waiting/supply list that are trying to become teachers. Also, it would benefit the students by offerring them more resources. And all of this because of the ridiculous pay/benefits/vacation that teachers get. OHHH the blinding endless entitlement for things they should have.
