im disturbed about the charges although i don't really understand the criminal code so i researched a little....
there doesn't seem to be "armed robbery" here, but there is robbery (with firearm) and (without firearm). There is also "pointing a firearm" does this mean that they are being charged with robbery (without a firearm) and pointing a firearm? doesn't seem right to me to separate the offense like that to go easy on them if that is what they did... according to this there is no minimum sentence for the robbery without a firearm but a max of life. with a firearm holds a min of 4 years and pointing a firearm holds a max of 5yrs. Seems like lesser charges to me... unfortunate
