I'm always surprised when people fall for this type of scam. Why would anyone pay you MORE than you are asking? If they have $500 (or whatever currency) to buy a money order to pay for a $300 item, they don't need you to send them the extra $200.

Sadly, honest people often assume everyone else is as honest as they are, and they end up getting stung.
