Our justice system frustrates me. In particular, the young offenders act. All these so called young offenders commit crime knowing darn well they will only get a slap on the hand. I always believed that the young offenders act should be abolished. If the person, regardless of their age commits a crime of any calibre, their names need to be made public and they need to pay the price of the crime. If you're old enough to commit the crime, you're old enough to serve the time. While on the subject of names, all offenders names should be made public. I get the discretion in abuse cases but protect the victim and not the criminal. We have the right to know the names of all offenders and criminals. It only helps protect us from them.
