You should be careful because cruelty to animals is an indicator for psychopathy and this "man" knows where you live! I would phone the police and file a report, he may not appreciate the mailbox idea and you could end up suffering. I live in Toronto and have learned that there are safe and unsafe ways to get involved. Good luck and watch out for yourself too.
